Galaxy S24 Series launch date revealed, powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3

The Galaxy S24 series is perhaps the most anticipated series to be launched in 2024. The technical specifications of the trio, the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra, have been revealed recently. Previously, the Galaxy S23 series was shown in March before being pushed back to late February. Now a leak reveals that this time the South Korean tech is bringing the Galaxy S24 series sooner than usual. Ice Universe, who is known for his Samsung leaks, claimed in a Weibo post that the Galaxy S24 would be released on or around January 18th, 2024.

That’s roughly two weeks sooner than the formal announcement of the S23. Although the disclosed date may be inaccurate, Ice Universe expects the phone will be available around this time. It was earlier claimed that Samsung is accelerating the release of the Galaxy S24 series in order to compete with the iPhone 15 series. The Galaxy S23 series was released on February 1 of this year; thus, a January 18 release date for the Galaxy S24 series does not appear improbable.

The two-way satellite communication feature may be useful in emergency scenarios. The trio of the S24 series is expected to sport a QHD+ Super AMOLED panel and may have a peak brightness of around 2,500 nits. It is also said that the ultra variant may arrive with a titanium frame.
