Galaxy S24 series to get different fast charging speeds depending on the model

It goes without saying that the Galaxy S24 series is one of the most eagerly anticipated series to be released in 2024. The extreme edition of the trio—the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra—has in fact generated a lot of buzz ever since its release. Initially, it was the design that leaked, then the features, and now the most anticipated technical details have been revealed online. Now the forthcoming Galaxy S24 series has been spotted on the 3C certification in China, which further revealed many specifications about the variants.

Samsung Galaxy S24 to support 25W fast charging, S24+ and S24 Ultra to support 45W fast charging

According to the information from the 3C certification, the Galaxy S24 series will offer a charging speed that is comparable to the Galaxy S23 series and there won’t be any upgrades. The 3C certification listing reveals that the base variant, the Galaxy S24, bears the model number SM-S9210 and will have a 25-watt rapid charging capability. The Galaxy S24+ bears the model number SM-S9260 and claims to support 45W of fast charging capacity. Finally, the ultra variant, the Galaxy S24 Ultra model numbered SM-S9280, comes with a 45-watt rapid charging capacity.
