Samsung opens One UI 6 beta program for Galaxy Z Fold 5 in the UK

Samsung has been testing One UI 6 for almost two months. Initially, it opened the beta program for Galaxy S23 devices, but after some time, it expanded the program for more Galaxy devices, including the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S21. Now, the company has opened the One UI 6 program for its foldable smartphone, starting with the Galaxy Z Fold 5.

As usual, like any other update, Samsung is expanding the One UI 6 beta program gradually. Earlier,  the company had already introduced the One UI 6 beta for the Galaxy Z Fold 5 in three countries, including India, South Korea, and the US. For further development, the company has now released it in the UK as well, and it is expected that it will be available in more beta participant countries.

How to join One UI 6

First of all, you have to update the Samsung Member app to the latest version, then open it and tap on the banner “One UI 6 beta program” Next,  it will ask you to enroll in the program. Tap on the enroll button at the bottom. Then wait for some time. It will get the new update within a few minutes, and then install it on your device.

Moreover, it is important to note that as it is a beta update, there will be some unexpected issues that could come to the devices. If you are not waiting for another update to fix any issues, then it is recommended that you not join the beta program and wait for the stable update.

One UI 6 comes with several enhancements.

One UI 6 is equipped with some significant changes for the Galaxy devices. It is the first generation of skins for Galaxy devices, which will be based on Android 14. With the new update, Samsung will bring multiple enhancements to its existing functions, including Quick Panel, Gallery, Camera, Homescreen, Weather, Camera, and many more.
