Samsung began releasing the stable version of the One UI 6.0 upgrade, which is based on Android 14, following months of beta testing. As we knew, the first group of smartphones to receive the most recent version of the company’s mobile software is the Galaxy S23 series. Samsung posted a guide on its website after the update was released, detailing how to take advantage of One UI 6’s new camera functions. The company verifies switch phones will get the newest version of Android 14 at the conclusion of this publication. Confusions started there when the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy S20 were mentioned in the list of devices that will receive the Android 14 update.

Both models, when introduced in 2020, will receive three major software upgrades. As of this statement, the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy S20 have already received Android 11, Android 12, and Android 13 OS upgrades, and this is it. Later, the promise was extended for the Galaxy S21 series to get four major Android OS updates, but this is not applicable to the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy S20. So the presence of the devices on the list will be a mistake on Samsung’s side. So the owners of Note 20 and S20 should not be in joy with this partial information, as this is something impossible.

So what will be the case with the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy S20?

Samsung only announced a few Galaxy Enhance-X capabilities for those smartphones. Samsung stated that the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Note 20 would be able to use the Galaxy Enhance-X capabilities that were described in the article regarding camera enhancements through One UI 6. So it will be like the models may get some camera features, but when it came to the phrasing of saline that follows, it was probably a mistake made by Samsung. However, a clarification would be expected from Samsung soon, which is much needed for the individuals who use the Galaxy Note 20 and Galaxy S20.
