The Galaxy S24 series is highly awaited for its Snapdragon-Exynos combination of processors, as both chipsets are newly launched and awaited for their performance reports from the users. Most of the rumors have focused on Samsung’s next flagship Galaxy S24 series, specifically on the chipsets that would be used. In the past, Samsung has powered its handsets with Exynos CPUs in certain areas and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chips in others, such as the US and China. But it seems things are getting altered, maybe for the better, as Samsung plans to integrate its own Exynos 2400 processor into the majority of markets for the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+.

Notably, these rumors have received some confirmation from Geekbench benchmark testing. During testing, the overclocked Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for the Galaxy AP chipset and 12GB of RAM were seen in the Korean form of the Galaxy S24 Ultra, with model number SM-S928N. Using the Exynos 2400 chipset, which has a variety of CPU cores running at different clock rates, the Galaxy S24, bearing the model number SM-S921N, was also tested on Geekbench. It is also stated that the Galaxy S24 will have 8GB of RAM. With the company’s One UI 6.0 layer on top, the smartphone will come pre-installed with Android 14. In the results of the single-core and multi-core tests, the device achieved 2051 and 6204 points, respectively.

The South Korean tech giant will unveil the trio of Galaxy S24 series in January 2024, which is a couple months away. Customers’ opinions of this tactical decision and the Exynos 2400’s ability to provide a superb user experience on par with its Snapdragon equivalent have yet to be determined. The Exynos 2400’s performance is very essential for the comeback of Samsung in its processor manufacturing division, as the prior chipsets were criticized for several reasons. In the Galaxy S24 and S24+, both the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Exynos 2400 chipsets will be used to run the gadgets in several regions. It will be exciting to see who wins the race by offering smooth CPU performance.
