Things haven’t finished with One UI 6, but there have already been talks regarding the One UI 6.1 Android version. Not much relating to the eligible devices is known; however, it is pretty sure that the Galaxy S24 series will be pre-installed with Android 14 One UI 6.1.

Earlier rumors stated that more exciting AI-integrated features would be employed in the One UI 6.1 update. Now a fresh rumor from the tipster Tarun on his X platform points out that the battery system of the devices that will be powered with One UI 6.1 will have enhanced battery protection.

What’s the new Android update bringing in to protect the battery?

The phone charges to 80% in the Adapt mode and then passes until it’s time for you to wake up; in the Basic mode, the charging stops at 100% and restarts at 95%. There are already a number of other Android cell phones with this capability. 80% is the point at which the max mode ends battery charging. There are high chances that AI may be utilized for the battery enhancement, which may be set accordingly to perform as per the user’s usage of their device every day.

If you observe, all iPhones come with a battery health percentage function. However, if these are the only battery production features in the One UI 6.1, then it is the only one that is missing in the Galaxy S24 series. The battery system of the Galaxy S24 series follows,

  • Galaxy S24: 4,000 mAh
  • Galaxy S24+: 4,900 mAh
  • Galaxy S24 Ultra: 5,000 mAh

More than AI integration in camera applications, everyone wants to use it to improve their battery and secure it for a long time. Galaxy S24 models seem to be full of surprises with new chipsets and a newer Android experience.
