Online leaks of the Samsung Galaxy S25 series smartphones surfaced long before the scheduled appearance of the next Galaxy S24 series smartphones. There are also strong rumors that the next generation of Galaxy S25 smartphones will see major redesigns. Recently, Revegnus (@Tech Reve), a trustworthy tipster on X, revealed the statement that Samsung may forgo using the GN3 sensor in favor of the standard S25 and S25+ smartphones.

The leaker went on to say that Samsung wants to use a Sony sensor in the devices. But according to a recent leak, Samsung has apparently abandoned its intentions to do away with the GN3 sensor. Furthermore, the leak reveals that the S24 and S24+ will utilize the ISOCELL GN3 image sensor. Though they seem to be backing off from their earlier projection, Revegnus stated that the S25 will not employ the GN3. As of now, the back cameras of the Galaxy S23, S23+, and Galaxy Z Fold 4 support the GN3 sensor.
