Samsung launched the Galaxy Watch 3 back in 2020. At the time, the company had provided its own-designed Tizen OS 5.5.0.2, so it was updated two times but limited to Tizen OS. But now, after a long time, it is getting one more piece of software that has brought some new watch faces, which came with the One UI 5 watch for the latest watches.

The latest update is currently available for the WiFi models; it is coming with the version numbers R840XXU1DWK2 and R850XXU1DWK2. It is worth noting that Samsung hasn’t brought any significant updates in a long time for the Galaxy Watch 3 since 2021. But surprisingly, Samsung has pushed a new update; maybe it will be a Christmas gift for the users. Along with this, there are expectations that the company will serve the same update to the Galaxy Watch Active 2 in the next few days.

So if you are using the Galaxy Watch 3 smartwatch, then now you can easily update it. Just open the Samsung wearable app on the connected smartphone, then go to watch settings, tap on watch software update, and tap Download and install.
