WhatsApp is a widely used platform across the world. The reason behind its popularity is its convenience; it provides an easy interface for communication, whether it’s via voice call or text. However, communication is not only the main reason, but it’s also more utility functions, which include file sharing, especially image and video sharing. From the beginning, the application automatically compares them to lower quality for easy sharing, but at the same time, it produces a bad impression on the users.

To get rid of file compression, the company has recently introduced the option to send the photos in HD quality, which means users can now share the files in their original form without compromising quality.

To use this option, you just need to select any image or video in the chat window of the receiver, and then it will provide a new option on the top as ‘HD’. When you click on it, a popup box will appear, asking you to select any of the options between standard quality and HD quality. Now, to make it more convenient, you also set the HD resolution as the default.  According to WABetaInfo

If you also want to be part of the beta testing, then you can easily join it by following these simple steps: First, open the Play Store, then go to the WhatsApp app page here and tap on the join button. Once you join, you will get an update. Once testing is done, it will also be available for the stable update for all users.
