Samsung Expands April Update for Galaxy S24 to More Countries

Samsung, showing its activeness, started the April 2024 security patch update for the Galaxy S24 devices even before March ended. The company has already rolled out the update to several countries and regions, including Canada, Europe, the US, and the Middle East. Now that it has started expanding the update to more countries,

Notably, the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra can identify the latest update by the firmware version numbers S921BXXU1AXCA, S926BXXU1AXCA, and S928BXXU1AXCA, respectively. The update was spotted in South Africa, Argentina, Brazil and comes with a software package of around 650MB.

The April 2024 security patch is one of the standard security patches, which will improve the overall security of the devices. According to official documentation, the update has brought a total of 44 patches, and Google has included 27 patches to address the security vulnerabilities found in the Android OS. Along with this, Samsung has also added 17 patches that will improve the overall functionality of Galaxy devices.

Along with the security enhancement, Samsung has also introduced some changes to the camera functionality, so it will provide enhancements for working in the camera and bring you better quality photos.

To do that, you just need to go to the software update menu from the system settings and check for the update available, then tap on the download.
