Samsung to bring one more massive update for Galaxy watches as One UI 6.1 watch
Samsung has introduced its latest Galaxy watches, including the Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch Ultra, with the One UI 6 watch, which has brought a bunch of significant features. It is running the One UI 6 watch beta program for Galaxy Watch 6, Galaxy Watch 5, and Galaxy Watch 4 series devices.
In earlier years, Samsung Galaxy watches usually received only one major update in the form of a new Wear OS-based One UI skin, but this time, we will receive an additional significant update after the latest One UI 6 watch software.
Galaxy watches to get additional One UI 6.1 watch update based on Wear OS 5.1
According to the report, Google plans to bring one more major software upgrade based on Android 15. This means that we, the watchers, will get access to the latest Android OS feature in the same year of release.
In the initial days, Google can’t focus on the software department of smartwatches, as it doesn’t follow a consistent cycle of new updates. However, with the popularity gaining, the company is focusing on introducing a new update for smartwatches powered by WearOS.
As Samsung Galaxy watches also use Wear OS, it may also introduce a new major software with a new skin upgrade for the watches.
