One UI 7.1 Launch Might Make One UI 7.0 a Temporary Update

Beyond expectation, Samsung teased One UI 7 to be released stably on the Galaxy S25 at the SDC24. Noticeably, apart from the latest One UI 7, the series will bring something more.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 series was supposed to run Android 15-based One UI 7.1 out of the box, but that’s not the actual case anymore; it’s highly anticipated to run One UI 7.

All the predictions regarding the One UI 7 beta release proved false. Initially, following the previous beta release schedules, it was expected that One UI 7 beta could be released sometime between July and August. But from then until now, all the rumors and predictions go wrong.

Finally, at the SDC24, Samsung announced the One UI 7 beta version for the developers will be released by the end of this year. The stable version will be released in 2025. Meanwhile, following the previous Galaxy S series release schedule, the Galaxy S25 should debut in early 2025. By this prospect, it’s highly expected that it could run One UI 7 out of the box.

Now the new rumor suggests that the coming Galaxy S25 series is expected to run One UI 7.1 out of the box. According to new leaks, the Samsung Galaxy S24 will receive One UI 7, while the Galaxy S25 models will run One UI 7.1.

However, Samsung has yet to confirm that the Galaxy S25 will receive One UI 7, and rumors are suggesting that it might launch with One UI 7.1. It remains to see what happens next.
