One UI 7 New Features and UI Changes
At the SDC24, it was noticed that several demo Galaxy S24 Ultra devices were seamlessly running One UI 7, hinting what Galaxy fans could expect, from the new notification panel and quick settings to the camera app and much more.
One UI 7: Notification Panel and Quick Settings
To begin with, the new One UI 7.0-based notification panel as well as quick settings looked more promising with a redefined design, allowing users to have individual notification panels and quick settings for more smooth animations and was incredibly redefined. The notification panel has pill-shaped bars covering the entire display and looks more refined, while the tiles of quick settings are aesthetic and customizable.

Redesigned Gallery, Galaxy Store, Settings, and Camera app icons:
One UI 7 will indeed offer a much refined UX, focusing on subtle yet impactful design. Meanwhile, as diving deeper, the app icons of the Galaxy S24 Ultra running One UI 7.0 seem to be revamped, while it further suggests that Samsung wishes to make the icons even more colorful. This refinement could be seen with several app icons, especially the Gallery app, followed by the new Settings icon and Galaxy Store app icon.

With more colorful yet revamped Galaxy app icons, Samsung One UI 7.0 will enhance its Camera app, making it convenient to be used one-handedly. In the new Camera app, the camera actions get expended when tapped on the small (a circle-shaped icon with four small dots inside) menu at the bottom right.
Revamped Phone app, and battery indicator
Other refinements within the One UI 7.0 include the power menu. Which has now taken a round circular shape rather than being a squircle button. Meanwhile, the app labels and icons are now much bolder. The battery icon now takes a horizontal pill-shaped structure with the battery percentage listed inside. Further, the Phone app now has icons for Keypad, Recents, and Contacts.

Moreover, Samsung’s forthcoming One UI 7 version is going to be a massive update with which the company aims at a much redefined One UI experience for the users.
