Samsung Lists Galaxy Devices Eligible for November 2024 Security Update

Samsung is in no mood to end its streak of being among the first smartphone manufacturers to begin to roll out security updates for its eligible Galaxy devices. As the series continues, the company has already started delivering the new November security patch in the month’s early week.

With the 2021 model—the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE—being the first device to receive the November 2024 security update in South Korea, the company has begun to gradually expand the new build to all of its eligible Galaxy phones and tablets in several regions.

Meanwhile, Samsung has published the November security bulletin; thus, it’s clear that the update significantly addresses several security-related vulnerabilities that detail patches from Google in the form of plenty of crucial CVEs, while the others are Samsung-specific vulnerabilities.

Given the CVE details, the update focuses on fixing 38 CVE items from Google that include high-level vulnerabilities, while there are 13 SVEs that are brought up by Samsung to improve the overall functionality, security, and stability of the Galaxy models while also protecting them from certain external threats in order to provide a more safe and secure user experience.
