Samsung Galaxy Phones Remove Google Lens Shortcut from ‘Circle to Search’

Yes! When asked on the official page, Samsung’s officials confirmed that the Google Lens feature shortcut has now been removed while commencing Circle to Search.

Samsung Galaxy users have reported that when using the Circle to Search feature on their devices, the Google Lens function is not visible. To which the company’s representatives elaborated that the Circle to Search’s Google Lens shortcut function, which can be accessed by long-pressing the Home button, has now been removed amidst certain changes and enhancements in the concept of the Google app.

However, the Lens function can still be used via the Google app by installing the Google Lens app from the Google Play Store. Also, it’s disappointing that as of now, there’s no word whether the Lens shortcut function will be reverted back to the Circle to Search functionality or not, as users have been facing slight inconvenience with the partition.
