One UI 7 Beta 2 Removes ‘Secured By Knox’ Watermark from App Drawer

Samsung’s incredible One UI 7 Beta Program hit the Galaxy S24 lineup in early December, marking the end of a long wait for the Galaxy audience. Soon after opening the beta program, the slots were occupied immediately, resulting in the beginning of the second beta phase, which promised to fix all the bugs and several new features or changes.

The newer Android 15-based One UI 7 Beta 2 has begun rolling out for the Galaxy S24 series in some selected countries, including Germany, South Korea, the US, and the UK. However, the Beta 2 update for Phase 1 countries, as well as for those in India and Poland who enroll in the One UI 7 Beta Program, already receives this fix with Beta 1.

Secured By Knox’ Watermark Issue Resolved in the latest One UI 7 Beta Update

Right after installing the first beta firmware, S24 owners noticed an inconvenient ‘Secured By Knox’ label at the bottom of the app drawer, which was frustrating. With more new features, changes, and bug fixes, Samsung’s latest One UI 7 beta 2 brought about a significant fix for the app drawer.

Meanwhile, Samsung previously claimed the weird ‘Secured By Knox’ watermark appearing in the corner of the app drawer was to be removed with the official (stable) version, indicating that the issue will not be solved in the beta testing phase, but it fixes the issue in the latest One UI 7 Beta 2 itself, which is great!

For now, not only the watermark fix, Samsung is likely to fix all the other relevant issues and bugs that were causing the inconvenience in the first One UI 7 beta firmware. For reference, the second phase adds a new option that allows Galaxy owners to significantly switch between 60Hz and 120Hz refresh rates
