Samsung is following its ritual of introducing its dedicated ringtone with its latest flagship phone, as once again it is back with a new version of its beloved Over the Horizon ringtone, just in time for the launch of the Galaxy S25.
Usually, Samsung offers a new version of the “Over the Horizon” ringtone along with the latest flagship smartphones, and it is following the same ritual this year also, as it has already revealed the new beloved Over the Horizon ringtone.
Samsung has yet to launch the Galaxy S25 series on 22 January, and before the official launch, it released the new version of Over the Horizon, which was created with the help of a full jazz band, which sounds more pleasant and soulful.
The company states that this new rendition “evokes an ideal day and a hopeful future,” and this seems right; it was created by Jacob Mann, a Los Angeles-based composer and pianist. Noticeably, it is captured in spatial audio and mastered in Dolby Atmos by engineer Will Kennedy.
To tease the fan community, Samsung also published a short making video of its new ringtone where fans can hear Jacon Mann’s thoughts regarding Over the Horizon and how they worked hard to compose it to connect to the “rhythm of the day”; for instance, it is mellow and soft at the start and then gets bolder from there.
