These Samsung Galaxy Devices Now Have January 2025 Security Update

Samsung shared the details of the January 2025 Android security bulletin for its Galaxy devices that aims to eventually boost the device’s security. Well, the company is rapidly continuing with delivering the new security patch to more smartphones in different parts of the world. Here is the list of Samsung smartphones that have already received the update so far.

Android 14-based Samsung’s January security patch has brought about over 51 CVE items that combine security patches from both Google and Samsung.

Meanwhile, Google items include 29 CVEs that are applicable for Samsung devices, where five items are highlighted as critical, 24 are marked as high-level CVEs, one CVE patch is already included in the previous updates, and lastly, 2 CVE items are not applicable for Samsung devices.

Alternatively, accompanied by Google’s security patches, Samsung has also exclusively addressed 22 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVEs) that are significantly aimed at fixing certain security-related issues that prominently affect the system security, performance, and functionality in order to provide smooth system behavior to the users.
