Samsung Galaxy S25 series is satisfying customers via decent design, new advanced features, and impressive specifications. Now a new reason comes to light to add an extra layer of satisfaction: the display repair for the series is cheaper than its predecessor.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra features Corning Gorilla Armor 2, which is quite drop-resistant as compared to the Armor glass of the Galaxy S24 Ultra. The spare parts for a display repair are also cost-efficiently lower than those of its predecessors, at least in the Indian market.
The company is using the same display panel as last year in all three variants, which could potentially reduce costs and make the repair more affordable. However, there is still a slight price increase for the back glass repair.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra’s display repair costs INR 11,950, whereas the Galaxy S24 Ultra costs INR 16,610. It’s a huge difference in cost. Similar to the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+, it costs INR 6,150 and INR 8,400.
However, except for display repair, the motherboard and battery repair of the Galaxy S25 series is slightly costlier than its predecessor, and the reason behind this seems to be the new Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. The likelihood of a customer needing to repair their motherboard or battery is minimal; typically, an accident damages the display. Fortunately, this repair is slightly more affordable than its predecessor.
