Now, Samsung’s latest Galaxy S25 Ultra is exclusively debuted with the new and second-generation Corning Gorilla Armor 2 protection on display, reducing reflection of light for an efficient and enhanced readability with no harsh reflection. Alternatively, a report further reveals that this new Gorilla Glass Armor 2 should be more drop resistant as well.
Samsung and Corning collectively clarified that the new Corning Gorilla Armor 2 consists of anti-glare and anti-reflective coating properties, while also saying that the newest display protective layer is more powerful and durable at the same time. This significantly makes it 4x more scratch resistant than lithium aluminosilicate glass covers with an anti-reflective coating.
Apart from this, both companies have not assured that the new display protection will significantly deal with drops and falls, but looking towards its durability factor, it could be more drop resistant as well.
