While focusing on making the S25 a true AI partner, Samsung transformed its Smart Select into a new one, while also introducing a Pixel-exclusive AI feature.

Specifically, Samsung has changed Smart Select which is now called AI Select, significantly placed on the Edge Panel at the top allowing users to quickly create GIFs from a desired portion of a video.
There are certain moments in a video that the user wants to save separately so that it can be watched again on repeat; however, it can be a little time-consuming as you need to find the exact part of the video and then download it. Meanwhile, the AI Select feature comes to the rescue as it lets users download only the desired part in the middle of the video in the form of a GIF separately.

Alternatively, the Galaxy S25 lineup also brought a range of tools that allow users to become pro at editing photos and videos with just a few taps.
Simplifying the editing function for the users, Samsung introduced a new Audio Eraser feature that helps users significantly remove all the unwanted noise in their videos. The noises within this feature have been categorized into sounds like: voices, music, wind, nature, crowd, and noise, allowing users to either control to tone down separately or even remove each noise from the background. Apart from this, Google has already provided this feature to its Pixel devices.
