Samsung pushes February 2025 update for Galaxy Z Fold6 Flip6, Fold5, and Flip5 in Europe

Samsung Galaxy devices have slowly and steadily started receiving the February 2025 security update in different parts of the world. The update hit the company’s flagship Galaxy S24 a couple of days ago, while the Galaxy S25 models were received just recently.

Meanwhile, the company is now expanding the February 2025 Security patch update for the company’s older foldables, the Galaxy Z Fold 6/Flip 6 and Z Fold 5/Flip 5, though. Also, the update has been spotted in some European regions.

The February patch for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 comes with F956BXXS2AYA8 and F741BXXS2AYA8 version numbers, while on the other hand, it’s been recognized that the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 are getting the patch that carries F946BXXS4DYB1 and F731BXXS4DYB1 build numbers.

Samsung detailed the February patch; however, it doesn’t list any major features or changes. It significantly brings some crucial fixes for all the security vulnerabilities that have been brought up by both Google and Samsung collectively in order to offer a safe and secure user experience while also protecting the device against potential threats.

Besides security fixes, the update further brings a lot of performance optimizations alongside adding stability to the overall system behavior that offer a more stable and optimized functionality.

Moreover, now the Galaxy Z Fold 5, Flip 5, Fold 6, and Flip 6 foldable owners can download the latest version on their devices when available.
