Samsung may expand One UI 7’s Now Bar to more affordable Galaxy devices

Samsung seems to expand its latest convenient One UI 7’s Now Bar feature to more Galaxy smartphones including mid-range.

Samsung with the One UI 7 introduced one of the convenient features Now Bar, an interactive element on the lock screen that showcases real-time updates. Although, initially the Korean tech giant teased that the older devices might not be compatible with the Now Bar feature and the reason behind this is hardware limitations.

Before Samsung Galaxy expanded the stable One UI 7 to its older Galaxy devices, it launched one of the most affordable Galaxy F06 smartphones that already runs Android 15-based One UI 7 out of the box and supports Now Bar.

Beyond expectations, the Galaxy F06 despite being the cheapest device supports the Now Bar feature, which strongly hints that it might be possible for Samsung to expand this feature to more affordable devices. A random user on X shared a post claiming that the newly launched Galaxy F06 brought the One UI 7’s Now Bar feature.

Meanwhile, a few leaks also reported that the forthcoming mid-range Galaxy A06 is also anticipated to support the Now Bar feature, if this report comes true then it will be quite possible that at least almost older flagship device could be eligible for the feature. It remains to see exactly what will happen next
