One UI 7 Now Bar Shows Google Maps Live Activity

Samsung with One UI 7 Beta 3 removed certain activities from the Now Bar’s Live Notifications; meanwhile, those functions are coming back to the track as Google Maps now makes its way to the One UI 7 Now Bar.
Since the Now Bar pop-ups are designed to appear on the lock screen, on the status bar, and at the top of the notification panel, Samsung called the Now Bar change an intentional refinement while also assuring to bring all the key activities back to the Now Bar.
Google Maps Gets One UI 7 Now Bar Integration in Latest Update
Meanwhile, it is spotted (via X) that the Now Bar with One UI 7 now began showing the Google Maps briefing on the phone’s lock screen. Alternatively, users can experience Google Maps service on their smartphone’s Now bar by updating the application to its newest beta version: v25.05.01.719889437.

Apart from this, due to certain ongoing improvements within the Now Bar functionality, Samsung removed a few activities from the Now Bar, leaving only Interpreter, Clock, and Emergency Sharing functions.

However, it previously supported Voice Recorder, health, Google Maps (which has now been added), Bixby, Samsung Notes, Media Player, and Current Mode. Although these activities were visible, they were not functional.
Moreover, the Now Bar is one of the most significant features that arrived with the One UI 7 version, which allows users to get all key information right at their smartphone’s lock screen without having to unlock the device. Also, with Google Maps having been successfully added into the Now Bar functionality, it’s possible that Samsung will soon integrate all the other activities that have been removed from the Now Bar.
