Specifically, being a minor update, the latest Android 16 Beta 3.2 build brings a few key fixes that fixed an issue where the devices are facing miscalibrated haptic feedback while also fixing an issue that was causing extreme battery drain even when the device was not in use.
Beyond this, the beta update further integrates a fix for the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro smartphones, which are experiencing the screen flickering issue while taking pictures and videos with the camera. In addition, it also fixes various additional issues that were affecting overall system stability and usability in order to offer an efficient user experience.
On the comparative side, Samsung is yet to begin the rollout of the latest Android 15-based One UI 7 stable update, which is scheduled for April 7. While Android 16 is moving on the right timeline track for its stable launch decided for June 2025, Samsung needs to push its speed if the company has to match Android 16’s launch timeline for its upcoming One UI 8, as it is going to be based on the next Android OS.
