Samsung Galaxy M56 Geekbench spotting left users in confusion

Samsung is gearing up to expand its affordable Galaxy M-series by debuting a new smartphone called Galaxy M56 5G which is anticipated to be powered with an Exynos 1480 chipset.
Last month, Samsung debuted a bunch of mid-range Galaxy devices, including Galaxy A56, Galaxy A36, and Galaxy A26. Now, the company is gearing up to launch the smartphones under its affordable lineup called Galaxy M56 5G. The device has already been spotted on Bluetooth SIG certification.
A report from Xpertpick revealed that the forthcoming Galaxy M56 5G surfaced online on Geekbench certification with the dedicated model SM-M566B. The listing of the device suggests it will be powered by the Exynos 1480 chipset rather than the newer and more powerful Exynos 1580 with 8GB of RAM.
However, the chipset’s name is not mentioned, but the model number s5e8845 identifier in the motherboard field, along with CPU including- four 2.75GHz performance cores, four 2.05GHz efficiency cores, and the Xclipse 530 GPU. These details hint at the Exynos 1480 chipset.
According to the listing, the Single-Core of the device scored 1,153 and the Multi-Core scored 3,456. Apart from the model number and chipset, no other details regarding the specifications of the device were revealed. It will run Android 15-based One UI 7 out of the box.
The company will launch the Galaxy M56 as the successor to the Galaxy M55, which is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1. It remains to be seen what new novelties the brand will offer to the coming Galaxy M56 smartphone.
