Samsung has expanded its stable One UI 7.0 rollout to include the Galaxy S23 series, following its recent deployment for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and Galaxy Z Fold 6. The update, now live for Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra users in South Korea, is expected to reach additional regions in the coming days. This marks Samsung’s fulfillment of its commitment to deliver Android 15-based One UI 7.0 to its 2023 flagship lineup.
The South Korean release uses firmware version S91*NKSU6DYD9, which bundles Android 15’s latest features with Samsung’s interface enhancements. While specifics about global rollout timelines remain unconfirmed, the company typically follows its initial regional launches with broader availability within weeks, pending carrier approvals and local testing. Users in Europe, the United States, and other markets are advised to watch for notifications or manually check for updates.
To install the upgrade, Galaxy S23 owners can navigate to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install to trigger an over-the-air (OTA) download. For those preferring PC-based method, Samsung’s Smart Switch desktop application offers an alternative path. Simply connect the device via USB, open Smart Switch, and follow the prompts to apply the update.
