Looks like Samsung has resumed the stable One UI 7 update rollout in South Korea as the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 units alongside Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition have started receiving post One UI 7 update, following the Galaxy S24 series’ lead.
More specifically, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6’s latest update is currently available in Samsung’s home country, South Korea, and it will reach more eligible regions soon. The update for the devices is recognized with the F956NKSU2BYD9 and F741NKSU2BYD9 build numbers, respectively.
On the other hand, the update for the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition arrived with the F958NKSU2BYD9 build number. At the same time, the update; however, doesn’t bring any major features and changes; rather it significantly focuses on improving the system’s overall stability and functionality in order to offer a more efficient user experience.
Additionally, the software further integrates the new April 2025 security update that eventually brings plenty of fixes for all the security vulnerabilities that have been addressed in the previous version that helps users to have a more secure user experience and improves the device’s overall security and core functionality, while also protecting the Galaxy phones against potential threats.
However, the update most possibly fixes bugs that arose in the previous update, but don’t know exactly what as the changelog doesn’t mention anything clearly.
Lhat as the changelog doesn’t mention anything clearly.
