Google is working on “Live for AI Mode” for Gemini

Samsung Galaxy users, get ready to experience a new convenient feature called “Live for AI Mode” via Gemini, if it comes into existence.

Google is aggressively working on expanding the functionalities of its voice assistant, Gemini, to make it more advanced to enhance the user experience. A few days back, AI Mode gained Google Lens integration to power multimodal search, and now Google is working on a new feature called “Live for AI Mode.”

According to a report from one of our reliable colleagues, 9To5Google, suggest that Google Search is getting an equivalent Gemini Live-Project Astra capabilities, which will enhance the searching experience rather than providing personal assistance.

According to the report, spotted strings in the latest Google app beta explain that with Live, users will get compatibility for real-time voice conversations with AI Mode to find exactly what they are searching for, and can mute the microphone by tapping on the mute button.

The strings also suggest the name of the coming feature: “Live for AI Mode.” The report leaked a bulk of strings, which revealed that Google is building this Live capability into Google Lens and several other key points.

However, currently the feature is in the development stage, so it remains to be seen exactly how convenient it will be. On the other side, Gemini is already available on Galaxy smartphones, which means that if the feature comes into existence, Galaxy users will get it too.
