Samsung One UI 8 with Android 16 Update: Full List of Eligible Galaxy Devices

Samsung is struggling for One UI 7’s launch for now, although the company has already detailed a dedicated timeline for the stable rollout. Since once this is completed, Samsung will shift its focus to One UI 8; meanwhile, users must be wondering which devices will be eligible to receive the update. Thus, here’s the entire (expected) One UI 8 eligible device list.

Indeed, Samsung has begun developing its next major OS iteration, One UI 8, which will run Android 16 on top, behind closed doors, as the first look has already been revealed.

More specifically, Samsung is expected to uncover certain features with the upcoming One UI 8 version that the current version is lacking. These include certain optimizations within the Gallery app in order to make its usability more convenient; at the same time, it looks like more customizations are on the way that will eventually improve the overall quick panel.

In addition, the Galaxy S25’s exclusive Now Brief will be making its way to more older Galaxy models, alongside the Samsung Log video feature. But with that said, nothing is clear and official at this moment, and at the end, it’s all up to Samsung what it is going to decide.
