With the One UI 7 beta 3 launched on 6th January this year, Samsung has released One UI 7 Beta 4 for the Galaxy S24 series owners who were enrolled in the beta testing program. While this newest beta update is confined to more relevant bug fixes and improvements, it allows S24 owners to experience the new Samsung Log and AI filter features that are currently exclusive to the S25 series.
Well, the newer Android 15-based One UI 7 beta 4 is going live in the India and South Korea regions for now but will be expanded to other eligible countries over time.
Galaxy S25’s Log Video feature is now available on Galaxy S24 Ultra
Specifically, among other significant bug fixes and improvements, Samsung has introduced a new Video log feature (which is exclusive for S24 Ultra owners) for videos that substantially adds an option to record in log format to the camera preview. The log format allows users to capture a wider dynamic range for more flexibility when editing. However, the Log videos will look extremely flat and gray until their color is corrected in Gallery.

Users can now find the new Log toggle under the Advanced video options tab in the camera settings. Alternatively, in order to record video in Log format, both the Log toggle and the option placed on the camera preview at the top right need to be turned on. The key highlight here is that users can seamlessly capture videos in log format in both the video and pro video modes.
Galaxy S24 Series Experience amazing color contrast with AI Filters on Camera App
In addition to the Log feature, One UI 7 Beta 4 adds a new AI Filter option in the Camera app that lets users select and apply any desired filter, including Breeze, Pulse, Crystal, Shiver, Chill, Glow, Amber, Sunbeam, Shadow, and Shade, not only to the image that is being captured or videos recorded but also to the picture that has been selected from the phone’s gallery, while also allowing users to adjust the filter’s strength, color temperature, contrast, saturation, and film grain.

In order to apply the AI Filter, users need to tap the filter icon that’s placed on the top right on the camera preview screen, where users can find the icon at the top right corner while using the photo mode, while tapping on the four-dot icon on the bottom right of the camera preview screen will expand the bar, and there users will find the AI Filter icon when using the video mode.
