Samsung’s upcoming foldable lineup, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 has been in the headlines for a while now; meanwhile, a new leak for the Galaxy Z Flip 7 has just emerged, revealing a surprising yet major change in its cover display.
At some point, the previous report suggested that the Galaxy Z Flip 7 could feature a wider display and is rumoured to run on One UI 8 firmware, out of the box; the recents folks shared by Android Authority reveals that the leaked One UI 8 build suggests that Samsung may consider switching to a larger display for the Galaxy Z Flip 7’s cover display.
The animated files certainly depicted a more or less similar display design of the Galaxy Z Flip 5 and Flip 6; however, the cover display of the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 7 seems slightly larger, meaning the cover screen is supposed to be covering the full screen. This is something that has already been reported earlier and now the recent leak via the leaked One UI 8 firmware files probably confirms so.
On the other hand, the larger cover display of the Galaxy Z Flip 7 looks pretty amazing as it covers the entire edges and even surrounds the cameras as well.
Moreover, it’s expected that Samsung is preparing for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7’s launch in the second Galaxy Unpacked event of this year, while it’s rumoured to feature Exynos 2500 chipset, the flip device is reported to power a total typical battery capacity of 4,300mAh, and hopefully, fans will witness more information regarding the Galaxy Z Flip 7 in the near future.
