Samsung has rolled out the May 2025 patch to several Galaxy devices, this includes Galaxy S21, which has received the update earlier today, next generation Galaxy S devices, Galaxy S22 is also started getting the latest patch.
Informatively, Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+ and S22 Ultra are spotted getting May 2025 patch in the Asia. It carries the firmware version number S90xEXXSCFYE3. Apart from these the update could also bring some new changes for the devices. Currently spotted in India and expected to be available in more countries soon.
The May 2025 security patch update for the Galaxy S22 doesn’t bring any significant changes for the devices but it comes with the regular changes that suggest that the update will only fix the security related issues.
Apart from these the update could also bring some new changes which will improve the overall enhancement to the performance and stability of the device.
If you are also one of the Galaxy S22 users then it is recommended to keep your device to the latest update as it is the first update after the One UI 7 so it could bring some other changes to make the functionalities smoother.
