Samsung delivers new update for Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic in Europe

Samsung still retains its top spot when it comes to updating its Galaxy ecosystem; however, it delayed updates for the Galaxy smartwatches, but finally the rollout came back to the right track, offering One UI 6 Watch to all its eligible watch lineup. Meanwhile, the company is rolling out a new One UI 6 Watch-based update for the Galaxy Watch 4 series.

Basically, Samsung is looking towards expanding the March 2025 security update for the Galaxy Watch 4 and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic in more regions, while the update is currently reaching Europe, carrying the build number R***XXU1IYCD for Galaxy Watch 4 (LTE & BT) and Galaxy Watch 4 Classic (LTE & BT).

Earlier, the update was only available in Samsung’s hometown, South Korea; meanwhile, the update, however, doesn’t bring any major features or changes; rather, it significantly integrates the new March 2025 security patch that eventually improves the overall security and core functionality of the Galaxy watches while also keeping them safe against external threats.

Well, Samsung brought the Galaxy Watch 4 series with a host of interesting features and upgrades, while the One UI 6 Watch has taken its usability and functionality to the top. Now that the latest update is available in European countries, Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and Watch 4 Classic owners can now download the newest build on their wearables.

Also, on the other hand, Samsung plans to skip One UI 6.5 Watch or One UI 7 Watch and will directly jump on to the One UI 8Watch,; probably matching the major OS version that is going to arrive next in its Galaxy smartphones, whicht is One UI 8.
