Samsung Rolls out One UI 7 for Rugged Tablets and Smartphones

Samsung has multiple lineups in its catalogue which caters different categories of devices according to their premiumness or their characteristics. The Active lineup of tablets is also there which offers rugged tablets. While the Galaxy XCover lineup offers rugged smartphones for all weather work.

Now with the latest development after distributing One UI 7 to the popular smartphones and tablets it has responsibly started rolling out the update to the Galaxy Tab Active 5, Galaxy Tab Active 4 pro and Galaxy XCover6 Pro.

Samsung Galaxy Rugged devices getting updated with Android 15 (One UI 7)

Samsung has rolled out the One UI 7 for the Galaxy Tab Active 5 and Galaxy Tab Active 4 pro with the firmware version number X306BXXU5BYEB and T636NKOU8DYE8 respectively. Meanwhile, Galaxy XCover6 Pro is getting the same update with the firmware version number G736BXXUAFYE6.

Talking about the security enhancements, the Galaxy Tab Active 4 Pro and Galaxy XCover6 Pro are getting the latest security patch as of May 2025. On the other hand Galaxy Tab Active 5 getting the update with one month older patch as of April 2025.

With the One UI 7 update Samsung has introduced some new features for enhancing the productivity and other enhancements  by adding new features in the existing functionalities including Camera, editing tools, Quick panel, notification settings, lock screen and many more.

If you are using any of the above-mentioned devices in Europe, then you should start getting the update notification, so just tap on it to open the software update page and install the new update. Alternatively you can also check the latest update manually as well.
