Samsung Notifies One UI 8 Beta Users of Must-Know Information

Samsung has yet to extend the One UI 8 beta program to all the eligible markets, and before that, it shared a fewential pieces of information that each beta participant should be aware of.
To date, the Korean tech giant has rolled out the Android 16-based One UI 8 beta update only for the Galaxy S25 users in the selected regions. Recently, it has already been reported that it has begun testing the latest firmware version for the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra device, which hints at the early beta expansion.
It’s been three days since Samsung opened the One UI 8 beta program, and already several Galaxy S25 users have enrolled in it. Meanwhile, now, Samsung shared a few essential information that any beta user must be aware of on its community forum, which it has already announced through the beta bulletin board.
It’s recommended that each One UI 8 beta participant should change the concept of Buds to be set via Phone/BT Settings rather than Wearable Manager, which prevents your device from error. Secondly, a few third-party apps may have minor compatibility issues due to the new OS version.
The financial app may not work due to a compatibility issue with the current beta. Participants should know that after entering settings from the recent app list, pressing the back key, and a blank screen will appear. Beta users also must be aware of updating the Clock app to the latest version (12.5.00.39) for alarms and other functions to work properly.
If you are a One UI 8 beta user, you must be aware of the information that the company has announced again on the community.
