Samsung’s One UI 8 set to bring Home Up’s DIY Home landscape mode support

Samsung has already turned things around for the Galaxy audience who is the biggest fan of Samsung’s Good Lock suite. The company has offered a massive makeover to the platform, while also introducing refinements for certain modules, one of which is the Home Up’s DIY Home feature, now allowing it to work differently with One UI 8.

Actually, Samsung integrated DIY Home within the Home Up module, letting users personalize their home screen by adding decorative stickers and a lot more.

Meanwhile, the company’s official moderators have responded that they have been working towards certain refinements to make the DIY Home work in landscape mode.

Basically, the Home Up’s DIY Home feature currently only supports portrait mode when applying changes on the home screen, however, when asked for its working in landscape mode.

To which, Samsung’s Good Lock team replied that they are deeply analyzing and working on the implementation of DIY Home to support functionalities in landscape mode, while also assuring that this feature is scheduled to arrive in the next OS, which is One UI 8.

Well, the next upcoming major OS is Android 16-based One UI 8, therefore, it’s a slight sign that Samsung is already working towards the DIY Home’s landscape mode support and will arrive possibly with One UI 8 once the latest version is available to all the Galaxy audience.
