Galaxy M15 and F15 getting the One UI 7.0 (Android 15) update

It looks like Samsung’s budget-range Galaxy devices have already started grabbing the ongoing One UI 7 stable update rollout in several eligible regions; meanwhile, the Galaxy M15 and Galaxy F15 are currently receiving the update in Asia.
Samsung is focusing on the Android 15-based stable update rollout on one hand while also developing the next major OS, One UI 8, under the hood.
Currently, the One UI 7 expansion is already progressing to more affordable category phones, and so the Galaxy M15 and Galaxy F15 units are getting the update in India and are identified with the build numbers M156BXXU6BYE7 and E156BXXU6BYE7, respectively.
More specifically, the latest stable firmware not only integrates some essential capabilities of Android 15 but also brings about a lot of features that take the user’s experience to the next level.
It brings the ability to check all the important alerts and control music, timers, and more on the lock screen via the Now Bar without unlocking the phone; adds more customizable home screen widgets than ever before; and live notifications to provide access to voice recordings, sports scores, and other ongoing activities.
Beyond this, the update adds more improved Galaxy AI features while also enhancing certain productivity tools such as Writing Assist, Drawing Assist, call summaries, and more, and even integrates the May 2025 security patch level for a more secure user experience.
Well, the update is currently available for the Galaxy F-series and M-series devices in Asian countries, including India; more eligible models will join the party soon. For now, the users can download the latest version on their devices via the Settings app.
