Samsung’s June 2025 Security Patch now available for Galaxy S24 series

Samsung started the expansion of the latest June 2025 security patch to more eligible Galaxy smartphones, which will be followed by the foldables and tablets soon. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S24 series joins the security update party, alongside Galaxy S25 models.
Currently, Samsung is rolling out the June 2025 security patch rollout for the Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra, beginning from its home country, South Korea, and the models carry the build numbers S921NKSS7BYE9, S926NKSS7BYE9, and S928NKSS7BYE9, respectively. The wider availability of the update is expected soon.
Specifically, security patches only focus on improving the device’s security and core functionality, while at the same time, as per the details published by Samsung, the latest June 2025 security patch brings a host of fixes introduced by both Google and Samsung collectively for all the security vulnerabilities to provide a more secure user experience, while also protecting the device against external threats and other sophisticated harms.
On the other hand, the update further adds stability and reliability to the entire system behavior for efficient functionality and brings certain performance optimizations to offer a smoother and more stable device experience to the users.
Well, Samsung has successfully begun the One UI 8 beta program, with the first beta of the latest OS being tested by the Galaxy S25 family in India.
While the One UI 8 beta 2 is also available for the S25 models in South Korea, Germany, and the US. While the Galaxy S24 series is eligible to receive the One UI 8 beta, it’s yet to be seen when Samsung will start the One UI 8 beta rollout for the S24 models.
