Samsung’s Project Moohan to have more Pixel Density than Apple Vision Pro

Samsung is rumored to introduce its XR headset again next month at the Unpacked event, which has more pixel density than the Apple Vision Pro, as the report says.
The Korean tech giant is working on its first XR headset, code-named Project Moohan, for so long, and several times it has already teased it on many occasions. Earlier this year, the company offered the first glimpse of the headset at the Galaxy Unpacked event in January 2025 alongside the Galaxy S25 series launch.
Recently, it has been reported that Samsung is tipped to launch Project Moohan during the Unpacked 2025 event. Meanwhile, a tipster, Anthony, via their X handle, shared a post claiming that Samsung’s XR headset will have a density of 3,800 pixels per inch, over 400 ppi.
If this report comes true, then it will have more pixel density as compared to the Apple Vision Pro. Apart from this, he also reported that the OLEDoS panel will be supplied by Sony and Samsung Display. However, Samsung hasn’t released any official statement regarding the specifications of its upcoming XR Headset yet, so it remains to be seen whether this report will come into existence.
Samsung will host the Galaxy Unpacked event on 9 July, at which it will debut the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7, and Galaxy Z Flip FE smartphones. Apart from the foldable phones, the Galaxy Watch 8, Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, and Galaxy Watch Ultra (2025) are also rumored to launch at the event.
