One UI 8’s Audio Eraser Now Delivers Cleaner Sound Across More Apps

Samsung’s One UI 7 introduced the Audio Eraser, a feature that is designed to erase or remove all the unwanted noises, including wind, crowds, and more, from audio using AI capabilities. Meanwhile, One UI 8 is supposed to enhance the power of this AI-based feature while also expanding its integration to more apps.

Following the Galaxy S25’s significant lead, Samsung has offered the Audio Eraser feature to more older-generation Galaxy models. At the same time, a new report via a tipster, Ice Universe, claimed that the company is looking towards making the functionality available in more Samsung apps, other than the Gallery app.

More specifically, with One UI 8, the AI-powered Audio Eraser feature will be easily accessible in more apps, including Samsung Notes and Voice Recorder. At the same time, users will now be able to eliminate the noise at the same moment when watching the video without even entering into the editing screen.

Beyond this, both the newly added apps now have a Galaxy AI button, which is placed right below the audio, and when tapped, the Audio Eraser feature automatically erases the unwanted noises from the background, leaving a clear audio that is more enhanced and improved.

Well, not just that, it appears like Samsung is looking towards making the Audio Eraser feature a much faster and more efficient user experience. Further, just tap the Audio Eraser button that is located in the bottom right corner when playing a video in the Gallery app, and the Audio Eraser feature will do the rest.

Moreover, the latest functionality is currently spotted on the Galaxy S25 models running an internal One UI 8 build, and the feature is not available in the latest One UI 8 Beta version.
