One UI 8 to Improve Spam Call Protection

Samsung has already introduced some of the major features and UI makeover for the Galaxy devices in the One UI 7.0 update, but this time the company is focusing to bring minor but effective changes for the devices. The spam call protection is also one of the them which is confirmed to be available with One UI 8.0.

Samsung’s Spam Call Protection to be Better in One UI 8

Samsung is already providing the feature to block spam calls where users have the facility to activate it manually. With this feature the device identifies the spam call and rejects it in a short ring. Now with the One UI 8 it is said to be more useful and responsive.

A user in the community has asked about the ability to reject the unwanted calls which makes the device usage more peaceful and less destructive. He has demanded the working of blocking of spam calls like the third party applications.

In response to the Query, Samsung’s official community moderator stated that the requested feature named as automatic spam call blocked will be available with the One UI 8. More specifically, after installing the One UI 8 on your Galaxy devices, the existing caller id detection feature will also get the blocking feature.

Informatively, Google has also announced that it will introduce an Advance protection feature that will safeguard device against harmful activities which also includes spam call. So it is possible that Samsung could adapt it as it is on Galaxy devices.
