Samsung provided the best ever upgrade for its Good Lock suite a while ago, making its modules more powerful and efficient. With the company already working on its next major OS, One UI 8, the MultiStar module is already receiving a new software update but still does not bring the compatibility for One UI 8-eligible Galaxy devices.
Basically, the Good Lock suite is the one-stop destination that provides a host of customization options via a wide range of apps for a more personalized user experience.
Meanwhile, Samsung is rolling out a new software update for the Good Lock’s MultiStar module that apparently takes it to an all-new version number, v9.1.09, while at the same time, the changelog significantly lists a few features, including fixing the issue where the cover launcher widget display is not occurring properly for different app versions, and also resolves temporary activation of the cover game widget in certain regions that, however, don’t support this functionality.
No One UI 8 Support Yet as Good Lock MultiStar Gets New Version
The latest version certainly mentions that the support for the MultiStar app is currently only limited to the Galaxy devices that support the One UI 7 version and not the latest One UI 8, even when the version is already running on the Galaxy S25 series.
Well, this clearly suggests that Samsung is yet to provide the support of the latest MultiStar support for One UI 8, while the new update is only compatible for the Galaxy devices running One UI 7. Hopefully, the Good Lock MultiStar will soon support the Android 16-based One UI 8 version in future updates, but for now, users can download the latest MultiStar update via the Galaxy Store, or else they can check out Good Lock as well.
