Samsung Adds One UI 8 Support to Good Lock’s Display Assistant

Samsung has just revealed its final version of One UI 8 with its new foldable smartphones including Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE. The company has started rolling out One UI 8 support for the Good Lock Display Assistant.

One UI 8 support for Display assistant: What does it mean?

Good Lock Display Assistant module’s latest update comes with the version number 8.0.13 and the changelog shows One UI 8 support, it means the app is prepared to get optimised with the Android 16-based One UI 8 running smartphones. Currently the Galaxy S25 Series (One UI Beta Program) and latest foldables are running on the update.

Apart from these, if there any new feature arrived in the One UI 8 related to display then the application should adapt it to get running smoothly.

For starters, the Display Assistant is an Good Lock Application which provide the customisation for the using the display for different applications. For example you can customise if you want longer screen turned on for specific apps or limit brightness profile  or use different adaptive brightness options and many more.

If you are using the One UI 8 running devices like Galaxy S25 then you can check for the update on your device via Galaxy store while for other devices it may be available with the major update availability.
