Samsung’s Advanced Nanoprism Sensors Headed to Xiaomi in Bid to Overtake Sony

Samsung is always in the game whenever it comes to the supply partner of any crucial component of smartphones and almost at the top preference in most of the departments like Display, camera sensor and more. Now the company is expecting to step further in the Camera sensor to more devices.

According to the report, Samsung is expected to  expand the market of Camera sensor to support it to more brands like Xiaomi and the company has already started using tit in the latest smartphone Civi 5 Pro.

The company has used the ISOCELL JNP image sensor which is specifically  designed to improve low light photography as it is capable of capturing more light per pixel. Further the specification of the sensor consists of 50 Megapixels , 0.64 micron pixel size and 1/2.8 inch optical format. This will make the first advanced sensor from Samsung to other smartphone companies.

It is worth noticing that, it is not the first time that Samsung is supplying the camera sensor for the rival company but this time it comes as the largest supplying of the sensors. This could be genuine from Samsung to make its presence stronger than other suppliers like Sony.

Apart from Xiaomi, Samsung is looking forward to joining hands with other clients like North American tech companies for increasing the sensor supply. In conclusion, Samsung want to take advantage of the exponential growing market of sensors which is predicted to be grow by 26.5 billion dollars till 2029.
