Galaxy Watch 8 Have Battery Charging Limit Option in One UI 8 Watch

Samsung is continuing to evolve in terms of innovations, especially in its wearable category. At the same time, the Galaxy Watch 8 series packs the most useful features that will reduce the risk of battery degradation before the right time.
The Galaxy Watch 8 and Watch 8 Classic were unveiled at the Galaxy Unpacked event alongside the latest Galaxy Z series foldables, while the smartwatches became the first to run Wear OS 6-based One UI 8 Watch out of the box.
Indeed Samsung has integrated a handful of significant health-based features, such as Bedtime Guidance, Vascular Load, Running Coach, and Antioxidant Index; the newest watch lineup also uncovers the most essential feature that will help in reducing the battery degradation, which smartwatch fans will love! Samsung Adds Battery Protection Feature to Galaxy Watch 8
Currently, Galaxy Watch 8 and Watch 8 Classic units are only available for pre-orders and will hit the retail shelves by the end of this month or so. By that time, Samsung had started sending certain review units to a few selective users, and now, it’s clarified that the newly launched Galaxy Watch 8 series packs an all-new One UI 8 Watch-powered Battery Protection feature.

More specifically, the description says that this feature will allow the watch’s system to automatically stop charging when the wearable’s battery level reaches 90% as its maximum battery charging capacity and then start charging again when the battery percentage comes down to 85%.
Well, this feature resembles what smartphones have, but to some extent. The mobile devices, however, typically limit charging to 80%, but here the Galaxy Watch 8’s charging limit has moved to 90%. Also, the battery charging limit of the watches seems sufficient, as they have comparatively smaller batteries.
However, it’s yet to be confirmed whether the original Galaxy Watch 8 and Watch 8 Classic alongside the Watch Ultra 2 will feature the same Battery Protection function.
