Samsung Food just received the ability to snap & save recipes via the latest update

Samsung launched Samsung Food, its personalized, AI-powered food and recipe platform that offers various features, helping users to make their food, health, and cooking decisions that are right for them, in 104 countries. Meanwhile, the Samsung Food app is getting a new software update that integrates an amazing ability that users might have been waiting for!

Indeed, the company is eyeing enriching the Samsung Food app with some convenient yet exceptional features and functionalities; even via the IFA 2024, the company showcased Samsung Food with much more enhanced tools, which are apparently designed to offer a healthy lifestyle to the users.

Now, the Samsung Food app has started receiving a new update that eventually takes it to a new version, v2.46.0. Also, the newest version is now available to download via the Galaxy Store.

At the same time, the latest changelog says just, ‘Snap it, save it!’ which allows users to significantly add recipes from any photo of either their phone’s gallery or from the recipe cookbooks. In other words, the app will provide you with the recipe of the food item from just a simple image.

What’s New

Snap it, save it! You can now add recipes from photos or cookbooks. Available for Food+ users — or try it free with up to 3 saved recipes.

However, the feature is only exclusive for the users having Samsung Food+, a subscription service that integrates the Vision AI technology, which makes it more convenient to add any food item recipe with just a single snap.

Further, it’s important to note that users can even try out the feature for free but only with up to 3 saved recipes if they don’t want the Food+ subscription. Well, in case you missed it! Samsung introduced the Samsung Food+ subscription service at the IFA 2024 event.
