Recently, Samsung’s fan community witnessed an online launch of its next-generation premium tablets, the Galaxy Tab S11 series, alongside the 5th member of the S25 family, the Galaxy S25 FE. At the same time, the company has just unveiled Vision AI Companion IFA 2025.
The company has announced that the newest Vision AI Companion is the next significant standard set for AI-powered displays among a wide range of Samsung TVs and monitors. The Vision AI Companion significantly reflects the growing need for the central nature of smart TVs in the connected home experience when requiring more than just streaming content.
Samsung says that the new Vision AI Companion integrates a smarter and more intelligent Bixby voice assistant in order to provide more natural and conversational interactions alongside the most advanced AI capabilities into a single yet intuitive interface that allows users to have an effortless and effective way to discover and stream content.
The Vision AI Companion is powered by Samsung’s Generative AI, which allows a more personalized conversational experience that is needed for an intuitive connected home experience and efficiently takes it to the next level. Packed with conversational and visual intelligence that automatically understands context and follow-up prompts, there is no need for any commands, menus, or typing.
At the same time, the newest Vision AI Companion significantly integrates some key Samsung AI features into a single yet more intuitive experience, while also making it easier than ever before:
- Generative Wallpaper for more dynamic visuals tailored to the user’s preferences.
- Live Translate offers real-time translations for conversational and on-screen dialogues
- AI gaming mode for more responsive and immersive gameplay alongside AI-based optimizations
- AI Picture, Active Voice Amplifier Pro, and AI Upscaling Pro are integrated to automatically adjust picture and sound that are optimized according to the viewing environment across different sources.
- Copilot by Microsoft and Perplexity are now available as dedicated AI agent apps on Samsung Smart TVs, which allows you to complete tasks and productivity straight from the TV.
Well, Samsung has brought down its latest Vision AI support for its smart TVs for the first time at CES 2025, where the company aimed to enhance the entire connected smart home experience across TVs, monitors, and other displays. Nevertheless, the new Vision AI Companion takes this entire experience to a new level of personalization, device integration, and user support. Also, starting with South Korea, North America, and some selected European markets, the Vision AI Companion will be rolling out as a software update by the end of September, and more eligible countries will follow the update soon.
