Samsung Improves Repairability with Galaxy S25 FE Over Its Predecessor

Samsung’s latest fan edition smartphone, the Galaxy S25 FE, is much easier to repair than its predecessor, the Galaxy S24 FE.

Earlier this year, Samsung launched the Galaxy S25 series, including three variants: Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra. Then, a few weeks later, it introduced one more model under the same series called Galaxy S25 Edge. Earlier this month, the company launched the fifth variant of the family, the Galaxy S25 FE.

The newly launched Galaxy S25 FE is highly appreciated for its durability, and the credit goes to its sturdy Armor Aluminum frame, Gorilla Glass Victus+ front and back, IP68 dust and water resistance, and familiar components that have been tested for quality.

A dissection video of the Galaxy S25 FE on YouTube, uploaded by the PBKReviews channel, reveals that one of the most notable facts of the device is that it is much easier to repair compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy S24 FE.

According to the video, removing the back cover, speaker cluster, battery, motherboard, screen, and other components of the Galaxy S25 FE is more convenient than previous models. Noticeably, replacing auxiliary components, for instance, the charging port, which is considered more convenient on the new generation, is also easy.

The Galaxy S25 FE achieved 9/10 points for repairability, which is slightly higher than the Galaxy S24 FE’s 8.5/10. This suggests that the owners of the device don’t have to worry about accidental damage to the device, as it is easy to repair, which makes maintenance or component replacement faster and less costly.
