Beginning with the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 devices, Samsung’s ongoing September 2025 security update rollout list is growing substantially. Meanwhile, the company is currently delivering the update for the Galaxy A54 units in the US.
Since some Galaxy A54 audiences apparently participated in the One UI 8 beta program, Samsung is dispatching a new software update for the non-beta participants of the Galaxy A54, which significantly integrates the September 2025 security update.
Specifically, the latest firmware for the Galaxy A54 has been identified with the version number A546VSQSFDYH6 and is currently available for the Verizon carrier-locked phones in the US, and it’s expected to expand to more units across the country and to more regions in the course of time.
Meanwhile, according to the details, Samsung’s September 2025 security update, however, doesn’t bring any major features and changes; rather, it focuses on improving the overall system security.
It significantly packs plenty of bug fixes for all the security vulnerabilities that have been acknowledged in the previous update in order to provide a more secure experience to the users, while also protecting the device against sophisticated threats.
At the same time, the update further adds stability to the entire system behavior for a more efficient functionality and brings certain optimizations to the performance that lead to a smooth and stable user experience.
